My daughter made these bagels while using white spelt flour, (shibolim brand), and it came out delicious as well.

These were amazing and very easy and quick to make. I used half whole wheat flour and half white flour, needed more flour than it called for. Only 20 minutes to rise. Taste like bagels.

Easy, fast recipe for yummy bagels! Used 80% whole wheat flour, and the bagels were so soft and yummy. Made 24 small bagels.

Water Is the second part of the water used for the boiling part?

The 3 cups of divided water- part of it should be dissolved in yeast and then the other part is used in the dough. Then you heat up a big pot of water to boil them.

Yeast Can dry yeast be used and if so how much?

I believe active yeast and dry yeast can be used interchangeably. You wouldn't need to change the measurements.
