Hi, we’re Shoshi and Tzippy Newman. Two sisters under the age of 12 who love to bake for Shabbat! Join us as we whip up kid-friendly treats for Shabbat!
We hope you all had the most amazing summer and that you got in as much chilling as possible! This week we are gonna be making something that is the perfect way to get back into school!!!
We’re making jumbo cookies!! This recipe rocks because you don’t need a million ingredients. We only used six, and the last one is optional. You don't need anything but a fork and a bowl!! No mixer! Also, it’s a very professional, bakery-looking snack, especially if you put it in those cool bags!
We like baking our own school snacks every week or so, because it’s so much better than store-bought (and so much cheaper too!).
So let's get to it!!!

Soft-Baked Jumbo Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 and 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2. Whisk oil, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth.
3. Gradually mix in the flour and sugar until just combined.
4. Stir in chocolate chips, optional
5. Scoop 1/4 cupfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing three inches apart.
6. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until edges are set and centers are slightly soft.
