This recipe is a twist on a classic baked apple, with a crunchy panko coating. So easy and quick to prepare, this may become one of your favorite desserts to make. No mixers required! Serve warm on its own or with a scoop of ice cream.

Prepare the Baked Apples

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. On a plate, combine sugar with nuts and panko.

  3. Dip apples into oil, then roll in sugar-panko mixture.

  4. Place into baking pan. Bake for 50 minutes.

Note:

Can be prepared one to two days in advance and refrigerated.

 

Serving suggestion: Serve baked apple with Strawberry Sauce.
