For the Chopped Meat Goulash

Saute onion in oil or fat until golden.

Add beef or turkey, saute for 20 minutes over low heat, in covered pot, stirring occasionally.

Add water, potatoes, salt, and paprika.

Cook over medium heat for 30-40 minutes.

In fact, it was so good that my family requested it even after Pesach, so I'm making it again, this time using paprika which we don't use on Pesach. ETA: I added some frozen peas right at the end of the cooking time, to make it a one-pot meal. It went over very well.
