A healthier apple crisp with a light oat topping. Even served with ice cream, this dessert weighs in at just about 250 calories per serving.

Prepare the Apple Crisp

  1. In a large bowl, combine the apples, one tablespoon flour, honey, lemon juice, and one-fourth teaspoon cinnamon. Pour into a greased nine-inch deep-dish pie plate.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the oats, agave, remaining flour, and cinnamon. Cut in coconut spread until crumbly; sprinkle over apple mixture.

  3. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave on high for five to seven minutes or until apples are tender. Serve with ice cream, if desired.

    Hi- I would put it in the oven at 350F for 5-7 minutes or until the apples are tender.

    It says non dairy ice cream. I use coconut cream. It's worth buying.
