Pavlova with Fresh Fruit and Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients

Pavlova

  • 6 egg whites

  • 2 and 1/2 cups sugar

Strawberry Sauce

For Serving

  • prepared vanilla custard

  • 1/2 cup melted Elite Chocolate

  • 1/2 cup blueberries

  • 1/2 cup washed and diced strawberries

  • 1/2 cup cubed mango

  • pomegranate seeds

Directions

Prepare the Pavlova

1.

Whisk whites until stiff, slowly adding in sugar and vanilla.

On Gefen Parchment Paper, make two circles from the batter and bake the meringue circles on 225 degrees Fahrenheit for one and a half hours.

3.

Make a few small ones for decorating (small ones need an hour in the oven).

Prepare the Strawberry Sauce

1.

Cook all the ingredients on medium-high flame until all is dissolved. Blend briefly, leaving some pieces.

2.

Place custard in between the two pavlovas. Garnish the top with fresh fruit and strawberry sauce, and drizzle with melted chocolate.
