Silan complements the sweet taste of these healthy, tasty orange vegetables, and this dish is an amazing addition to any meal – from a light brunch to heavy dinner.
3 butternut squashes, unpeeled, sliced lengthwise, seeds removed
3 tablespoons Gefen Olive Oil
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
3 tablespoons Heaven & Earth Date Syrup
2 matzahs, coarsely ground
2 tablespoons Gefen Olive Oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1/2 stalk parsley, chopped
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper.
Place the squash halves on the baking dish, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
Roast the squash halves for 40 minutes, until they are soft and browned.
Heat a frying pan with olive oil and brown the ground matzah with garlic, salt, and pepper. Remove from the heat and add the parsley.
Drizzle silan over the squash and sprinkle with the matzah.
