Creamy and refreshing, this smoothie made the grade when my workmates tasted it. Not the typical strawberry-banana business, this drink hints at a piña colada flavor. If you don’t care for coconut, simply leave it out — it’s still fantastic!
1 mango, peeled, cut into chunks, and frozen
1 (15-ounce/425-gram) can crushed pineapple
2 tablespoons flaked coconut
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup milk
1 pineapple or vanilla yogurt, or 8 ounces vanilla ice cream, optional
Place all ingredients into blender or smoothie maker. Blend until smooth and frothy. Serve immediately.
