• Distance: 3-mile loop
• Elevation Gain: 1,000 ft
• Difficulty: Hard (steep climb)
🌄 What to Expect
Magnificent views of the Delaware Water Gap. The entire elevation gain comes in the first half mile, making for a steep, challenging climb before the trail levels out into a much easier, more runnable section.
⚠️ Good to Know
This hike includes Class 3 scrambling. Do not attempt it in wet conditions or without prior scrambling experience.

I am pretty knowledgeable on which kinds of snakes are venomous and where they usually are situated. The key is not to startle them. And keep a distance. They will also warm you with a rattle or sound, so it’s important not to have AirPods or earphones plugged in.
