Meat Sauce

Main Ingredients

1 tablespoon canola oil

1 large onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, grated

2.2 pounds ground beef

1 tablespoon salt

2 teaspoons black pepper

2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

2 teaspoons paprika

2 teaspoons mustard powder

1 teaspoon nutmeg

1 and 1/2 cups Alfasi Cabernet Sauvignon

3 (15-ounce) cans Gefen Tomato Sauce

2 cans of water (using the empty sauce cans) or Empire Chicken Broth or other chicken stock

2 bay leaves
