With Purim just over a week away, we know you’ve got enough on your plate. That’s why I’ve put together a Purim menu to help you check one thing off your to-do list.

This menu is crafted to keep your guests satisfied while adding an extra touch of excitement to your table.

Let’s dive into these crowd-pleasing dishes, each thoughtfully chosen to bring something special to your Purim celebration!

1. Shawarma Meat Pizza by Sina Mizrahi

In recent years I’ve become very into having small bite appetizers in the middle of the table as the first course, but for Purim when people float in at different times I think it’s nice to have something individual on the table for each person. A salad is always nice and appreciated, but I chose this as something different. Note: I would do this over hand-shaped pizza doughs that I’d like to shape into rectangles.

2. Sun-Dried Tomato Chickpea Topped Chummus by Rena Tuchinsky

I’d love to have this on the table.

3. Roasted Potatoes with Chestnuts and Mushrooms by Ruth Fox and Vicky Cohen

Fresh roasted potatoes are always appreciated. You can divide this dish into two pans and stick to just potatoes for the kids.

4. Zucchini-Mushroom Phyllo Tarts by Chanie Nayman

I love these little tarts. They hit the right note and present nicely.

5. Lamb Koftas with Pomegranate and Tahini by Chaya Rappoport

I always gravitate towards serving things that I think people will be excited about eating. This fits right in!

6. Saucy Sweet Pastrami Roast by Chanie Nayman

This is such a crowd pleaser and always serves nicely.

7. Crispy Candied Beef-Fry Salad by Chanie Nayman

You know how you used to make certain recipes that were real favorites and somehow they got lost in time? This is exactly that. When it came out, everyone was crazy about it; I heard about it everywhere. And then time went on, but we need to bring it back. It’s worth it!

8. Pistachio Knafeh Delight by Chaya Surie Goldberger

Is anyone going to have time for dessert? Or will they be running out to get home for Shabbos? Here’s a delicious idea just in case.
