One of the hot topics (pun intended) that come up in conversation when discussing going away for Shabbat is warming food on Shabbat. Sure, there are ways around it, like serving cold sandwiches and salads, but if you’re renting a house and have ample space to create a warm and cozy environment for your family, then a nice hot Shabbat meal shouldn’t be out of the question.
When we kept hearing the name “Hot Logic” from friends and on social media, we knew we had to delve deeper and share it with you.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Hot Logic, it’s a mini portable electric “oven” that reheats, cooks, and defrosts meals on the go.
We love that it can warm frozen meals up (because most of us arrive at our destinations with exactly that- ice blocks of food.) You can place most types of containers inside it, including glass, plastic, tupperware, aluminum, and cardboard. And we also love that it comes in multiple colors, including red and blue, if you’re looking for both milchige and fleishig options.
It’s foldable (think of an insulated lunchbox), which is perfect for travel!
If you end up using this on an upcoming vacation, let us know how you liked it!

Halacha ask your local orthodox rabbi if it’s allowed for use on shabbos!!!! ( it’s fully closed so it could be a problem)
