I was recently having a conversation with a few people about how many stores we go to for our regular weekly grocery shop. A few of my friends said they go to one store and one store only. I am definitely not in that camp!
For one, I hate spending double on certain staples, and that alone will have me putting in an extra order from another store. You can rightfully argue that I am paying more for the extra items I buy in the second place, or in my case, the tip/delivery fee I pay for ordering services like Instacart, but I still think it balances out in the end if you shop smart.
The second reason I don’t only go to one store is for variation. Especially with produce. I want to find fruits and vegetables that are a little different from the usual staples. I think it opens up options for delicious healthy dishes and brings newness into your regular repertoire.
