Have you ever tried a cheese scone? It’s a quick, easy and delicious recipe made up of crumbly dough filled with bits of butter and lots of cheesy flavor. A yummy appetizer that everyone will love! One batch can make up to two dozen scones.
1 and 1/2 cups Mishpacha Flour
1 stick unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 ounces grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup ice-cold water
1/2 teaspoon Haddar Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons Gefen Sesame Seeds, for topping
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a food processor, blend the flour and butter together until crumbly.
Add the cheese, baking powder and salt, then slowly add in the cold water during mixing.
Once the dough turns into a ball, form walnut-size balls of dough, dip in the sesame seeds, then place on a baking tray lined with Gefen Parchment Paper.
Bake for 15 minutes or until browned.
