3 onions, diced
4 garlic cubes
3 carrots, diced
2 parsnip, diced
3 chicken cutlets, cut into pieces
1 cup barley
salt, generously
water to cover
oil for sautéing
Sauté onions and garlic in oil until onions are translucent.
Add the rest of the ingredients.
Cook for at least five hours.
