6 to 8 cloves garlic, minced
1 bunch scallions, cleaned and thinly sliced (reserve some for topping)
1 tablespoon chili flakes (gochugaru or Aleppo preferred)
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds plus more for topping
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 package your favorite noodles, cooked according to package instructions
2 teaspoons black vinegar or rice vinegar
1 tablespoon Glicks Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Gefen Sesame Oil
2 Persian cucumbers, chopped
In a large pot, heat the oil over medium heat until it is lightly bubbling, about five to eight minutes.
In the meantime, add the garlic, scallions, chili flakes, sesame seeds, and sugar into a bowl. Carefully pour the hot oil over the garlic mixture. It will sizzle. Allow it to cool for a few minutes. Add your vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame oil and give it a good mix.
Toss with your noodles until coated.
Top with cucumber, sesame seeds, and scallions.

Hi, it doesn’t say how much oil to heat in the beginning of the recipe.
Never mind, I see it’s a half a cup but it was listed in the middle so didn’t see it (:
