2 cups lukewarm non-dairy milk, such as Gefen Almond Milk
1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons Gefen Instant Yeast
2 eggs for the dough, plus 1 additional egg for egg wash
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
1/3 cup oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 tablespoon salt
6 cups Glicks Flour
1/2 cup chocolate sesame spread
Add warm milk, yeast, and one tablespoon sugar to a bowl. Mix and let sit for 10 minutes until yeast begins to bubble.
Add eggs, sugar, oil, vanilla, and salt, and mix well.
Add flour and mix until incorporated.
Turn dough onto the counter and knead for five minutes until dough is smooth. Add to large bowl and cover with towel. Let rise until doubled in size.
Once dough has doubled in size, punch down and divide into two. Roll each piece into a 12- by 12-inch square.
Smear with 1/2 cup of chocolate sesame butter.
Roll up into a tight roll. Cut each roll into 12 slices.
Add to greased nine- by 13-inch pan. Let rise for one hour.
Brush with egg, then bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes. Serve warm.
