When I first saw this, I thought, Why would someone want to ruin a perfectly good deli sandwich? But I kept seeing it again and again, until I decided to try it for myself. Now I get it. Chopping everything up really brings out the flavors. As an added bonus, when I had leftovers and served it the next day, for some reason, maybe because it was all chopped so small, everything stayed crispy, including the lettuce.
This is perfect if you have leftovers from Shabbos, or anytime really.
1 package beef salami
1 package smoked turkey
1 package pastrami
6 mini pickles
1 and 1/2 cups lettuce
1 red pepper
1/4 purple onion
2 Roma tomatoes
1/3 cup Gefen Mayonnaise
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 clove garlic, crushed or 1 cube Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 teaspoon Tonnelli Sriracha Sauce
2 teaspoons water
bread of your choice (I used mini baguettes) or tortilla chips
Dice deli, pickles, lettuce, pepper, onion, and tomatoes. The smaller you dice everything, the better.
In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, vinegar, garlic, sriracha sauce, and water. Toss with the chopped salad.
Serve with your favorite bread or on a bed of tortilla chips.
