Diets Make sure your butter and egg are room temperature. No electric mixer needed, just a hand whisk. If you want it pareve, add plant based milk and margarine.
120 milliliters milk
30 grams sugar
2 grams salt
4 grams instant yeast
1 egg (room temperature)
300 grams all purpose flour
30 gram butter (room temperature)
glaze- powdered sugar and a bit of water OR sugar
In a bowl, add the milk, sugar, salt, instant yeast. Mix. Then add the egg, and mix again.
Add the flour and mix until a dough forms.
Add the butter and start mixing it. When it’s mixed in, knead by hand for six to eight minutes until smooth.
Transfer to a clean bowl and let it rise for one and a half to two hours in a warm place.
Afterwards, shape the doughnuts.
Cover with a towel and let rise for 30 minutes. Heat a pan with oil and fry the doughnuts.
When finished, pat with paper towel to remove excess oil. Dip into sugar glaze or whatever you like.
