Ingredients

Double Fruit Crumble

  • 3/4 cup oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil

  • 1 pound whole fruit strawberry filling

  • 1 pound whole fruit blueberry filling

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large bowl stir together flour, sugar and baking powder. Add egg and egg yolk, vanilla and oil and combine using a pastry blender just until large crumbs form.

Spread one third of the crumbs in a deep nine-inch glass or ceramic baking dish. Spread strawberry filling over the crumbs. Add another third of the crumbs to cover the filling. Spread the blueberry filling over the crumbs. Top with the remaining third of the crumbs.

Bake 45 minutes to one hour or until crumbs are golden.

This recipe will also fill twelve five-to-six-ounce ramekins. Divide crumbs in thirds and follow instructions above to fill each ramekin. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
