Diets 4-inch flower cookie cutter
1 (17.3 ounce) package frozen Gefen Puff Pastry Sheets, slightly thawed
Tuscanini Marinara or pizza sauce
2 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
1-2 cups mozzarella or cheddar cheese, shredded
Gefen Black or green olives, pitted and sliced
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a cookie sheet lined with Gefen Parchment Paper.
Lay out the puff pastry sheets. Using the cookie cutter, press out flowers and place on the sheet pan. (If the puff pastry is too soft or sticky, put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes to chill and harden slightly.)
Place a teaspoonful of sauce in the center of each flower, top with a slice of tomato if desired, sprinkle generously with cheese and press the olive slice down in the middle of the flower.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until cheese is golden and pastry has puffed. Serve, but be careful since the cheese is hot.
