I love a good fluffernutter treat, or better yet, straight up peanut butter and
marshmallow fluff on the same spoon. This dessert is kind of like that, except maybe
slightly more civil to make it Shabbos- or Yom Tov-appropriate. With the seconds it
takes to throw together, there’s no reason not to give it a try this Yom Tov season!
Unless you have a peanut allergy, in which case please do not make this ever.
Yields 6-8 mousse cups
8 ounces (225 grams) pareve whipping cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup pareve cream cheese
1/2 cup Marshmallow Fluff, divided
Glicks Chocolate Syrup, for garnish
chopped peanuts, for garnish
Pour whipping cream, salt, and vanilla extract into the bowl of an electric mixer. Whip on high speed just until stiff peaks begin to form. Add the peanut butter, pareve cream cheese, and 1/4 cup marshmallow fluff. Whip on medium speed until combined and uniform in color.
Using two knives, gently drop the rest of the marshmallow fluff into the mousse, one teaspoon at a time. Fold it in carefully, using a spatula, so that it doesn’t completely combine but remains streaky. Alternatively, transfer the mousse into cups, then drop one to two teaspoons marshmallow fluff in each cup and gently marbleize.
Top with chocolate syrup and chopped peanuts and enjoy!

Hi, do you think this can be frozen? Or how long will it last in the fridge?
Can definitely be frozen!
Can this be made a day or two in advance? And would you keep it on the counter or in the fridge?
Hi Esther,
I would keep it in the fridge and yes – you can make it a day or two in advance. That might actually help enrich the flavors!
