We do a lot of “arts and crafts” in my kitchen. I can’t say we always make things we go back to again and again, but the process of making it is enjoyable, and the suspense of “will this actually work?” is so fun for my kids. Here’s this week’s experiment. Let’s see if we keep making it!

4h 6
Easy Vegetarian Pescatarian Gluten Free Parve

Directions

  1. Line an eight-inch (20-centimeter) pan or loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. Using an immersion blender, blend the bananas and melted chocolate until completely smooth.

  3. Spread the fruit in an even layer in the prepared pan. Pour the chocolate mixture over the fruit and spread it out evenly. Freeze for three to four hours, until firm.

  4. Cut into squares. Remove from freezer 30 minutes before serving.

Notes:
This is not overwhelmingly banana at all. The banana is mostly there to give the chocolate a more pudding-like texture.
