Directions

Make the Butter Sheet

  1. In a small bowl, stir the garlic, basil, parsley, and salt into the softened butter until well combined.

  2. Spoon the butter onto a sheet of parchment paper and cover with a second sheet. Fold the edges of the parchment in to create a border (size the sheet to roughly match your arrangement of rolls), then spread the butter evenly from edge to edge. Freeze until firm.

Assemble and Bake

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cut each cheese stick into four pieces. Cut each dough ball into four pieces, for 12 pieces total.

  3. Wrap each piece of dough around a piece of cheese, pinching the seams to seal. Arrange the rolls close together on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Bake for 15 minutes, until lightly golden. Remove from the oven.

  5. Peel the parchment off the frozen butter sheet, and place the butter right on top of the rolls.

  6. Return to the oven for five minutes, until the butter has melted over the rolls. Serve warm.
