A burger is a burger is a burger right? Well, maybe not. Try this grilled burger made from a combo of ground beef and turkey, fresh chives and fresh tarragon served up on French rolls and loaded with all the traditional burger toppings. We think this one might be different than all the rest.
1/4 cupĀ Gefen Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon (optional)
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
3/4 pound ground turkey
1/2 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 French rolls
4 slices beefsteak tomato
3/4 cup romaine lettuce
In a small bowl, combine the dressing ingredients. Refrigerate.
In a large bowl, gently mix turkey, beef, chives, tarragon, salt, and pepper. Shape into four (4-inch) patties. Place on gas grill over medium-high heat. Cover grill and grill 12 minutes or until center is no longer pink.
Lightly grill rolls to toast. Spread rolls with dressing. Top with burgers, tomato slices, and lettuce.
