This recipe came about during the “empty out my freezer because it’s Erev Pesach” season. It soon became a fast favorite in my home and in so many others.
1 (9-ounce) package frozen lo mein noodles (such as Gefen)
1 (8-ounce) kielbasa, sliced into rounds
1 red pepper, sliced into thin strips
3 scallions, checked and sliced
1 cube Gefen Frozen Garlic
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1/3 cup ketchup
1/3 cup Haddar Brown Sugar
1 and 1/2 tablespoons mustard
1 teaspoon honey
Cook noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
In a sauté pan or skillet, sauté kielbasa, red peppers, scallions, garlic, salt and pepper for about 10 minutes, until soft and cooked through.
In a small bowl, combine ketchup, sugar, mustard and honey. Pour over kielbasa mixture. Reduce flame to low and simmer about five minutes.
Add noodles and toss to combine.
