This layered meat and potatoes kugel is like peanut butter and jelly or ketchup and cheese- two things meant to go together. Plus, it looks fancy. Win-win.
1 and 1/2 pounds ground chicken
1 large onion, diced and sautéed
1/2 cup Gefen Bread Crumbs
1 egg
1 teaspoon Gefen Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 pounds potatoes, grated
5 eggs
1 teaspoon Gefen Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash of Pereg Pepper
1/4 cup oil

Vegetable Kugel instead of Potato Instead of 2 lbs of potatoes, I mixed in carrots and zucchini with some potatoes.
It was delicious!
I do that with my latkes too. Such a great swap.
