Ingredients

Mid Winter Fruit Soup

  • 2 pounds sour cherries, pitted or 2 (16 oz) cans sour cherries

  • 1 quart orange juice

  • 1 quart Kedem Apple Juice

  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

Mid Winter Fruit Soup

1.

In a 6 quart pot heat first five ingredients and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.

Beat eggs until frothy.

3.

Add a thin stream of fruit soup to eggs, beating vigorously to prevent curdling.

4.

Pour eggs into pot of soup. Add pineapple chunks. Chill and serve.

Notes:

When using fresh cherries, cook for 15 minutes.
