Diets The classic dessert bar gets a Passover makeover! Packed with chocolate, nuts, and caramel, these squares are an indulgent treat.
3/4 cup caramel sauce
1/2 cup Gefen Cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1/2 cup Gefen Potato Starch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light yellow. Gradually add in oil and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder and potato starch until combined.
Gently mix the dry mixture into the egg mixture (don’t over-mix).
Pour batter into a lightly greased 9- x 13-inch pan. Gently spread caramel sauce on top of chocolate batter and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
Bake for 30–40 minutes. Don’t overbake! You want a chewy, fudgy bar. Let cool and cut into squares.
Enjoy!
