Potato Chremsel are like small fluffy pillows of potato heaven! So easy to make, these are essentially potato latkes, using mashed potatoes instead of grated potatoes. Fried and crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, this recipe is a definite winner! Yield: 24 chremslech
6 potatoes, cooked and mashed
4 eggs
1 and 1/2 teaspoons Haddar Salt
dash of Pereg Pepper, optional
oil (or chicken fat), for frying
Combine all ingredients.
Drop by tablespoonful into hot oil or chicken fat and deep fry until medium brown.
