Diets I’m not saying that this is a healthy or particularly mindful dessert, but I have no doubt that it will hit the spot for those looking for something super last minute!
2 sheets Gefen Puff Pastry
1/2 cup jam (I use strawberry or raspberry)
1/2 cup Gefen Confectioners’ Sugar
1 egg white
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Line two baking sheets with Gefen Parchment Paper.
Place one sheet of puff pastry onto each baking sheet. Roll it out as much as possible. Cut each sheet into 16 rectangles and separate them as much as possible.
Combine the confectioners’ sugar and egg white with a whisk or fork in a small bowl. Brush the top of each pastry with the icing.
Place the jam in a ziplock bag and cut a tiny hole at the bottom. Draw X’s in a pattern on top of the icing. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
