Ingredients

Brisket

  • 2 bottles Pure Foods Brisket Sauce, any flavor

  • 1/2 to 1 cup beer or chicken stock, such as Manischewitz

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2.

Massage salt and pepper or coffee rub into the meat. Pour the sauce over the meat. Pour the beer or chicken stock in the side of the pan.

3.

Cover, and bake for three and a half to four hours, or until fork tender and fully cooked. Slice against the grain.

Notes:

You can also cook this on 250 degrees Fahrenheit overnight.

Cool the brisket completely, then freeze it sliced or whole with plenty of its cooking sauce in an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator and reheat gently, covered, in the oven or on the stovetop with the sauce.
