3-4 pounds roast beef roll
3 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons soup mix (use gluten-free if needed)
2 cups boiling water
2 onions, diced
2 bay leaves
2-3 cloves
6 potatoes, cubed
3 carrots, coarsely chopped
Brown meat in hot oil.
Dissolve soup mix in water. Add onions, bay leaves and cloves.
Pour over meat and cook, covered, over low heat for three hours.
Add vegetables and cook for an additional 45 minutes.
