This light and crispy seared tuna appetizer is both pretty to look at and tastes delicious. The vibrant colors of the tropical salsa are really pleasing to the eye.

tuna steak
salt, to taste
Pereg Pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons oil
1 mango, diced
1 avocado, diced
1/4 red onion, diced
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
juice of 1 lime (or about 2 tablespoons Heaven & Earth Lime Juice)
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Cut tuna into a long rectangle and pat dry. Season all sides with salt and pepper.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and sear tuna on each side for 30 seconds. Set aside to cool, then slice into medallions.
Toss together all the salsa ingredients.
To serve, spoon the salsa along the center line of a dish, allowing some to naturally fall to one side. Place tuna medallions along the edge of the salsa.
