This meat is so easy to cook, it’s basically foolproof.
zest of 2 lemons
2 tablespoons coarsely ground Gefen Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Tuscanini Coarse Sea Salt
3 cloves garlic, minced or 3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
3 pounds silver tip roast (with the net kept on)
2 tablespoons oil
Place a piece of Gefen Parchment Paper on your counter. Mix the lemon and spices together and place the mixture on the parchment paper.
Roll the meat in the mixture.
In a frying pan, heat oil on high heat until very hot. Sear the meat on all sides, two minutes per side.
Transfer to a pan. Bake covered at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes for rare meat (as pictured) or one and a half hours for well-done meat.
Slice when cold.
With appreciation to Set Your Table NJ for providing the beautiful dishes and tableware for this shoot, as well as On the Table Lakewood for the exquisite tablecloth.
