Strawberry Swirl Cake

Ingredients

Strawberry Swirl Cake

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 2 teaspoons Gefen Vanilla

  • 1/2 can strawberry pie filling

Directions

1.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, mix all ingredients except strawberry pie filling together until incorporated.

2.

Spray a 9×13-inch pan and pour batter inside.

3.

Using an immersion blender straight in the can, blend the pie filling until mostly smooth.

4.

Pour half of the strawberry sauce into the cake. Using a knife, swirl it around the cake, making sure to get the edges.

5.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 55 minutes to one hour.

a suggestion – add a little fresh lemon juice while you blend the pie filling. Also can add small amount of almond extract to the cake batter. This cake batter is a good base for yellow cake! thank you
