A great recipe for a french roast or any roast. Sweet and moist!
1 4-pound roast (French or brick work well)
carrots, chunked
mushrooms, chunked
onion soup mix
Put the roast into the pan. Place carrots and mushrooms along the sides. Mix the jelly with onion soup mix and pour over.
Cover and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes per half a pound. (Total two hours and 40 minutes for a four-pound roast.)
