Sweet Black Roast

  • 1 4-pound roast (French or brick work well)

  • carrots, chunked

  • mushrooms, chunked

Directions

1.

Put the roast into the pan. Place carrots and mushrooms along the sides. Mix the jelly with onion soup mix and pour over.

2.

Cover and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes per half a pound. (Total two hours and 40 minutes for a four-pound roast.)

The recipe does not include exact measurements. I would do 2-3 carrots and 2-8oz containers of mushrooms.
