Diets Every pool party (and time spent with the girls) needs a refreshing cocktail. This watermelon margarita is exactly what you’ve been looking for. Cheers to a day off! You can use coarse sea salt in place of the chili-lime salt. If you are using the chili lime salt, remember that it’s strong, so use sparingly!
about 1/8 watermelon (to yield 2 and 1/2 cups watermelon juice)
1/2 cup tequila
1 tablespoon curaçao (orange liqueur)
4 tablespoons Heaven & Earth Lime Juice
1 teaspoon sugar
chili-lime salt, for garnish
lime slice, for garnish
Pour chili-lime salt on a plate.
Rub lime on the edge of a glass. Dip the edges of the glass into the chili-lime salt.
Blend the watermelon in a blender. Strain the watermelon juice through a strainer.
Combine the juice with tequila, curaçao, lime juice, and sugar.
Pour cocktail into the glasses. Garnish with lime wedge.
