Beef
500 grams (17.6 ounces) steak (any cut)
10 to 20 grams (1/3 to 2/3 ounce) beef tallow
white and black sesame seeds to cover the steak
1/4 cup olive oil
Marinade
1 shallot or small onion
3 centimeters (1 inch) fresh ginger, chopped
zest and juice of 1 lime or lemon
2 dried kaffir lime leaves (optional)
2 tablespoons honey or Galilee's Delicacy Silan
1 tablespoon mirin (optional)
1/2 cup Gefen Soy Sauce
