Knowing Nothing

This week we read Parshat Parah, the Mitzvah of the Red Heifer. It is the ultimate chok, a mitzvah whose reason is impossible to comprehend. While its ashes purify the impure, they contaminate the pure. It seems to make no sense. Yet, Rabbi Spero shares a powerful story that illustrates how sometimes, things turn out best when we don’t understand at all.
