This summer, we’re excited to roll out something brand new: Best of the Bungalows.
Across bungalow colonies in the tri-state area, summer has its own rhythm—its own recipes, its own snacks, its own “you have to try this” moments that somehow make their way from one porch to the next. We wanted to find a way to capture a little of that magic.
So we're partnering with colonies to bring it to life.
Best of the Bungalows is a community collaboration between Kosher.com and bungalow colonies across the region, highlighting the things that make each summer special. We’ll be sharing the recipes everyone’s making again and again, the easy weeknight and Shabbos ideas that travel from kitchen to kitchen, and yes, the toys, gadgets, and kid favorites that define the season.
Each colony will have a designated Bungalow Rep—someone who’s right there in the mix, helping gather and share what’s happening in real time. They’ll be our connection to the community, making sure the voices, flavors, and personality of each colony come through.
And because summer should be fun, we’ll also be sprinkling in a few surprises along the way. Occasional giveaways and small colony-wide moments to enjoy together.
Mostly, this is about celebrating something we already know: bungalow life is its own world. Warm, communal, a little nostalgic, and always full of good food and good energy.
This is just the beginning. We can’t wait to share what your summer looks like.
