Aviva Kanoff

Aviva Kanoff started experimenting with food and art as a young child. Her first “masterpiece” was assembled using her highchair as a pallet.

Since then, Aviva's been fascinated by food: the taste, the texture, the color and the story behind it. A self-proclaimed explorer, Aviva takes inspiration from her travels. She loves to visit different countries to discover how they live, their culture, their clothes and their cuisine and put her own colorful, artistic spin on it.

A graduate of the French Culinary institute and the holder of a Studio Art degree from Hunter College, Aviva will demonstrate her unique and creative take on gluten-free cooking in her upcoming book, due out this spring.

Her first book, No Potato Passover, is a recipient of the Gourmand Award for Best Jewish Cuisine in the USA and is available nationwide.
