Dana Pollack was at the top of her game as a commercial photo editor when her love of baking and passion to bring more fun into the world inspired her to risk it all and become a female entrepreneur.
Leaving the corporate world behind, Dana formally trained as a pastry chef at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE). It was there that Dana realized her fun, multifaceted personality could be embodied through baking. And like that, Dana’s Bakery was born!
Over a decade later, Dana is the creative force behind Dana’s Bakery and a brand in her own right. CEO, Founder, Wife and Mother of 2 - Dana wears many hats and loves to use all those skills to partner with brands she feels passionately about. Dana lives in New York with her husband Adam and daughters Leni and Ella, they have yet to get a dog, but that will most likely change soon…
Known for thinking outside the box and putting their special touch on classic desserts, Dana’s Bakery is one of the first ever D2C bakeries of its time. In 2012 Dana's Bakery started out in a small kitchen located in Hawthorne, New Jersey, shipping directly to customers nationwide.
Dana's Bakery has expanded its menu and offerings to not only macarons, but cookies, cupcakes, brownies and more. Continuing to grow in a big way year over year the bakery gained millions of loyal customers placing them on the Inc. 5000 list for Fastest Growing Private Companies in America in 2018 and 2019. Dana's Bakery currently has over 140 employees. Operating out of two facilities which span over 150,000 square feet in South Hackensack NJ and Bethpage NY.
