When I think of an abundance of dried fruit and nuts, my mind (and heart) are transported to the sights, sounds, and smells of the famous Machane Yehuda Shuk in Jerusalem. This year especially, as so many of us don’t have the opportunity to visit Israel, you can bring the shuk home to yourself and your family.

Speaking of the shuk, picking from the tremendous selection of dried fruit and nuts at The Nuttery (@thenutteryny) actually gave me a feeling of shopping there!
 
Use this idea to celebrate Tu Bishvat or any other Israel-themed party.

You will need:

• Black tablecloth

• Burlap bags

• Israel backdrop

• Assorted fruit and nuts

• Handwritten signs

• Mini scoops

Tips:

• Stuff the bottom of the burlap bags with stuffing so it won’t take much candy and nuts to fill them.

• Raise the back row of burlap bags using any three-to-five-inch heights you have available around the house (ie. boxes, etc.).
