I always feel that the way we celebrate the first night of Rosh Hashanah sets the tone for the New Year. Whether it’s the special Rosh Hashanah greetings, the hallowed, sacred simanim or the beginning of the special Yom Tov Tefillos, they all capture the theme of the day. Setting a tasteful table in honor of this holy day will add to this auspicious time as well.

 

 

 

I’m so thrilled with my new grey velvet fabric/tablecloth I recently picked up at Stitch ‘N Sew Centre. They have many color velvet fabrics available in 72” width. In addition, the velvet does not need hemming and can be dried in the dryer, making it so easy to care for.

 

 

 

 

The gorgeous flower centerpieces were designed by Rochel of Primrose Floral Design Inc. I love her creative flair. Check out how she arranged the flowers in these adorable little tea pots, which look so charming!!

 

I never get tired of napkin ring vases. By adding just a couple of small, dainty buds to the napkin ring, it dresses up the place setting so much.

I find it neater and more convenient to put them out at everyone’s place setting.
