This is a twist on classic Rice Krispie treats. I tested this recipe and left it in the fridge. Each kid who noticed it said, “Yum, can I have?” They each enjoyed a piece…and then promptly went for doubles!
2 cups Corn Chex
1 cup Cheerios
1 cup marshmallow fluff
1/3 cup Gefen Creamy Peanut Butter
2 tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup Glicks Chocolate Chips
Place cereal in a large Ziploc bag and coarsely crush.
In a medium bowl, microwave marshmallow fluff, peanut butter, margarine and chocolate chips in 20-second increments until melted. Mix until smooth. Add cereal and mix until incorporated. Pour into a loaf pan and press down. Place in the fridge until set and then cut into bars.
