These chicken wings have a real kick. One of our favorite foods to make in the air fryer!
1/4 cup spicy mayo
1/2 cup pickle juice (from a pickle jar)
2 pounds chicken wings
3/4 cup Gefen Cornstarch (or potato starch)
1/4 cup spicy mayo
1 tablespoon Heaven & Earth Lime Juice
1 tablespoon Gefen Honey
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Whisk together the marinade ingredients. Pour into a resealable gallon bag. Add the chicken wings, then seal. Shake and move them around to make sure that all the chicken gets covered in marinade, then set aside for at least 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the air fryer.
Prepare a small bowl with the cornstarch. For each wing, shake off the excess marinade, then coat in starch. Tap off the excess. Repeat until all the wings are coated.
Lightly spray the basket of an air fryer. Add all the wings in a single layer. Cook in batches if necessary. Lightly spray the tops of the chicken with oil.
Set the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Check the wings to make sure they are cooked through before removing them. Place the wings into a large bowl (should have extra room in it).
In a small bowl, whisk together all of the sauce ingredients until fully combined. Pour the sauce over the wings, then toss.
Serve immediately with your favorite parve ranch or other sauce. Wings can be reheated in a 350-degree-Fahrenheit oven.
