Weeknight dinner repertoire usually includes meatballs. Here is a basic meatball recipe with two different sauces to choose from: one basic tomato sauce and one loaded up with sauteed vegetables. You can also bake or fry these tender meatballs or turn them into meatloaf. These fool-proof, savory meatballs are definitely going to become a go-to for your family dinners.
1 and 1/2 pounds ground meat
2 cloves garlic, crushed or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 onion, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/3 cup Gefen Bread Crumbs or 2 slices bread, soaked and squeezed
3 eggs
2 cans Gefen Tomato Juice
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 green pepper
1 medium onion, diced
2 tablespoons oil
1 green pepper, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 tomato, diced
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup water
Combine all ingredients, mix well. Form into balls.
For Sauce I: Bring ingredients for sauce to a boil. Drop meatballs into sauce and cook gently for 45 minutes.
For Sauce II: Sauté onion, green pepper and celery for a few minutes; add tomato. Cook for 15- 20 minutes. Sprinkle with flour, stir for two minutes. Add water and bring to a boil. Add meatballs, cook for one hour over low heat.

Delicious!!
Mom tested kids approved.
I used oat flour instead of bread crumbs and garlic powder instead of garlic.
Baked 20 minutes covered and 15 minutes uncovered (did not flip).
