Take a break from your typical meatballs in tomato sauce. These paprika meatballs are so easy to make with such simple ingredients. Boil these meatballs in a sauce made with sauteed onions and garlic and lightly seasoned with paprika and salt for a unique kind of meatball.
2 pounds ground beef or turkey
3 eggs
1 slice bread or challah, soaked and squeezed
1 onion, grated
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 medium onions, diced
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon Gefen Paprika
3 cloves garlic, minced or 3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
Combine ingredients for meatball mixture, mixing well.
Sauté onions in oil until golden. Add spices and garlic and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add water and salt, bring to a boil.
Form meatballs, drop into boiling sauce and cook for 3/4 hour over low heat.
