2 and 3/4 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 tablespoons juice (lemon, orange)
4-5 baking apples (peeled, chopped in small pieces)
1-2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 tablespoon sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and juice.
Spread half the batter in an eight-inch square pan.
Add apples on top of batter.
Spread remaining batter over apples.
Bake for 50-60 minutes until light brown.
In the meantime, mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
After removing the cake from the oven, sprinkle cinnamon-sugar topping over cake.
